Current Status

The Requirements Manager project is really just getting started. We intend to start small but have some grander plans. If you have a desire to contribute send a message to one of the project members listed in the SourceForge.net project page here.

Like any software development project, there are limited resources that can be applied to the design and development of RM. This has led to a phased implementation approach. Roughly, the phases of implementation are:

Rough requirements for the entire system.

Use case development for the requirements to be addressed in the first iteration

User interface design / prototype

Initial project setup abilities. This will require the development of a large part of the core architecture components to be used through the remaining development.

Requirements capture

Use case capture and requirements linking

Issue tracking

Deliverable groupings

Object model linking

Code linkages

We are currently at step one in this process.
